C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

ФЕдора 2.0 2.6.7 - ничего не могу скомпилировать - ./configure где-то посередине выдает

C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

и вываливается.

cpp 3.3.7 при этом установлен, а также gcc и c++

что делать?

скорее всего чегото не хвотает
