# pppd pon и kppp

В общем такая ситуация. Стоял ALTLinux. С самого начала без всяких проблем тогда настроил в GUI kppp и лазил в инет. Собсно по этой причине тогда и не познакомился с настройкой субжа (работает же) :)/ Сегодня поставил debian (давно собирался)… в общем kppp настроить сходу не удалось… после танцов с бубном и разных howto итд - настроился через pppconfig - теперь могу подконнектиться через pon [имя провайдера]. При этом в var/log/messages мне пишут

Все вроде бы ок. pon работает и из под основного пользователя (не только рут) после того как включил его в группу dip.

Сейчас и отправляю этот мессаг подконектившись по pon.

При попытке заюзать kppp оно звонит, перепискивается, после чего сообщает что pppd сдохло с кодом 1, в логах не удается найти ничего кроме того что в var/log/syslog выводит

чего делать понять не могу В настройках kppp логины-пашворды проставлены стоят…
