что-то я пропустил: вроде как проект мплеера должны были закрыть из-за нарушения лицензий. или это была утка? ---

We have an opportunity to host our server at a real hosting company with reliable air conditioning and power supply, but they only have space for a 1U rackmount case, while we have a standard tower case. the configuration we are looking for \* 1U case (this is the most important part) \* dual 1Ghz or single 2GHz CPU \* 1GB RAM \* 2x 200GB HDD in RAID-1, preferably SATA disks \* Reliable backup solution, we would like to have 3x300GB HDDs for backups to another server. ---

Так что, ничего катастрофического не произошло, в общем-то. К слову о патентах и т.п. - это висело на самом сайте MPlayer. Вот оттуда Byte это и вычитал. ---

Я-то сделал выводы еще несколько дней назад в сообщении #301451 (ответ на 301444) выше. А после этого Byte высказал свою озабоченность судьбой проекта и почему-то опять начался флейм Может вам с ним стоит переписываться только через личную почту ввиду особенной личной привязанности друг к другу? ---
