FreeBSD kernel development highly desirable. Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and related data network protocols: knowledge of TCP, ARP, ICMP is a must; knowledge of RIP, OSPF, SNMP and SGMP is a plus. Good design skills is a plus. Fluent in C programming language and excellent implementation skills is a must. Experience in development, debugging, and productizing large C based software projects required. Experience in network device drivers programming and testing is a plus. Three years of Linux software development experience. Quick learner, self-motivated, ability to work in startup environment. Motivated team player. Education: MS/BS or equivalent. English - advanced Responsibilities: Driver & network software code and architecture development. Project description: iStack currently imports FreeBSD Networking Stack, which was modified to work with iSNAP, into Linux system. This creates two networking stacks working in parallel in the host system. It is desirable to modify Linux Networking stack to work with iSNAP, thus eliminating need for two TCP/IP stacks in the system. Additional Information: $ 1800-$ 2400.
