Всем большое спасибо за советы. Уже все рабоает(1024х768х24 бит). Кто ж знал, что меньшая глубина цвета может не поддерживаться драйвером (16 бит), а только большая (24 бит). Обычно наоборот бывает

То есть не меняя карточки никаких надежд нет?

Возникла такая проблема при настройке иксов. Я установил ASP Linux 10 (Karelia). Крточка прошла насройку но нормально работает только на 256 цветах. если включаю больше - икс сервер не стартует и говорит: (EE) RIVA128(0): Given depth (16) is not supported by this driver Если вы сталкивались с подобной проблемой или знаете в чем дело, напишите в где тут собака порылась. Я ставлю линукс второй раз в жизни так что помогите новичку. Если информации недостаточно почтараюсь описать подробнее, только дайте знать что именно нужно указать.
