Если смотреть из init 3 grep /usr/bin /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers ни чего не показывает, процес подвисает и все, а из под иксов это посмотреть не могу,все залипает,правда Xservers у меня находится в /etc/X11/xdm/,но все равно процес зависает. А на счет Xgl, если честно то не знаю где смотреть? подскажите плз,SUSE ставилось по умолчанию,дравера по руководству.

Боюсь,что не исправит, во первых я и зайти не куда не могу-окна залипают и в них тела не видно, во вторых в 2D на Debiane все работает,в Gnome тоже все залипает,в Xfce ситуация аналогичная.

Итак, имеем ATI x1600 Pro 512Мб AGP (или она меня), на карточке два цифровых выхода к одному из них подключен CRT монитор через переходник. Ставим дравера ATI, по Howto http://en.opensuse.org/ATI, либо по Howto http://ru.opensuse.org/ATI_Driver, дравера встают без лишних вопросов, но вот картинка при запуске иксов отображает не пойми как только контуры окошек и шрифты, и то все залипает, работать не возможно, далее редактировал по рекомендациям edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and remove the vga=xxx statement from the kernel line, не помогает, Modify Login Manager - KDM Freezes - DISPLAYMANAGER="gdm тоже не помогает. И еще момент, рекомендуют в Xorg.conf прописать: Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "false" EndSection но получаем следующее: (==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Fri Mar 23 11:23:14 2007 (==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" Parse error on line 190 of section Extensions in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf Unexpected EOF. (может здесь собака порылась?) Прилагаю к выше сказанному скриншот рабочего стола, Xorg.conf, Xorg.log, Бьюсь с этой проблемой уже третью неделю куда дальше копать ума не приложу. Кто что может сказать толкового? Чего крутить нужно? P.S. Пробовал ставить и на другие дистрибы, Mandriva 2007, Debian Sarge, результат один и тот же, дравера встают, картинка отображается как на скриншоте, еще момент в Debian ставил карточку в 2D- работает замечательно, как только подключаешь 3D-модуль все как на скриншоте. Секция Section "Extensions" везде вызывает ошибку. P.S.S Нельзя разместить более одного файла (а жаль), ну если потребуется выложу Xorg и Xorg.log
