alsamixer и kmix проверяю программами glame и skype по-моему они обе используют alsa

Регулировал я и для arts и для alsa. Поднял все, стало лучше, но все равно недостаточно. Микрофон точно не паршивый, т.к. А: у меня два микрофона и на обоих эти симптомы Б: В винде все нормально

Дистрибутив Слакварь 10.0. Материнская плата chaintech 6aja4, звук встроенный, c-media CMI8738-MC6. При установке система определила звуковую карту автоматически. Проблема в следующем: Микрофон работает очень тихо. Я установил максимальный уровень во всех микшерах и включил Microphone Boost, но записывать звук можо только увеличивая громкость записи многократно в звуковом редакторе после записи. Разговаривать по Skype невозможно.

Заработало! Косяк был из-за того, что после установки драйвера я пересобирал ядро, а модуль nvidia не пересобрал.

Я обнаружил, что opengl в software mode работает, правда ОЧЕНЬ медленно(слабый проц), так что проблемы с драйвером видухи наверное...

Ну что, никто не знает, как мне помочь? Выходит, что модуля glx нет. Дистр у меня slackware 10.1, а видуха GeForce 2 MX400. Поставил драйвер для видео с сайта нвидии, иксы заработали, все было ОК, но 3д ускорение я не использовал. А недавно качнул себе две игрухи на opengl, foobillard и SuperTux. При попытке запустить foobillard экран становится черным и комп не реагирует ни на что, кроме ресета. Игра SuperTux по умолчанию opengl не использует, но если выбрать пункт Use OpenGL в меню, сразу же происходит то же, что и с foobillard'ом. Подскажите, что делать...плззз

Дистрибутив Slackware 10.1 Не пойму в чем дело. Вроде и компилятор не старый и SIM продукт не сырой. Файлов *.i после ошибки не остается. Я случайно снес некоторое файло, часть программ стала ругаться на то, что нет файла /usr/lib/libgmodule-1.2.so.0 Переписал этот файл у друга - теперь не находит libgthread-1.2.so.0 В дистрибутиве искал везде, но не могу найти. Подскажите, в каком они пакете? Дистрибутив 10.1

В x-chat нашел переключение кодировки, а в текстовых процах нет. Локаль у меня koi8-r, а RTF-ники в CP1251 Так что мне, каждый раз, как собирусь РТФ открывать прописывать в конфиги его кодировку?

Я настроил кириллицу по документации, все нормально работает, кроме: 1. В X-chat не могу читать сообщения на кириллице и другие юзеры не могут читать мои 2. Ни Kword, ни abiword не желают читать виндовые кириллические RTF-файлы(вместо текста крякозябры) Как это исправить? Дистрибутив у меня 10.1, ядро 2.4.29

Скачал драйвер для своего модема. У становка проходит нормально, но модем не работает. Делаю insmod pctel, выводит сообщение об ошибке, процитировать не могу, но смысл в том, что данный модуль откомпилирован gcc 2, а ядро gcc 3 и работать это совместно не будет. Что делать? Может где нибудь другой драйвер достать можно?

В какую директорию надо положить файл .xinitrc ?

Программа xorgcfg запускается, не смотря на то, что она использует графический интерфейс. Пробовал запустить twm с параметрами -display 0 или -display "Screen0" - тоже безрезультатно

По инструкции на сайте http://slackware.pp.ru настроил иксы, дрова для видео поставил с сайта производителя. Иксы врубаются нормально, но ни одна графическая оболочка работать не хочет. Все ругаются на DISPLAY. Помогите, плзззз....
