Решил на офисе поставить машину под Линукс REDHAT Enterpr 4. Всё в принципе работает нормально. Вообще для офиса очень хорошая система- нет проблем совместимости документов офиса Win и Линукса, для развлечения встроенных игрулек хватает с головой, но это я отошёл от темы. Я хочу поставить принтер, и наверное лазерный, т.к. со струйным у меня вечная проблема засыхания чернил в соплах, бывает не включаю по неделям.Так вот вопрос: Какой принтер посоветуете поставить, скорость печати большой роли не играет, зато нужен экономичный по расходникам и без проблем в установке под Линукс?

Насчёт компиляции ядра я иллюзий не питаю !!!! Плохому танцору ... Просто многое не понятно, а это повод пытаться разрешить проблему, фишка в том, что многие создатели пояснений и инструкций(HOWTO) расчитывают на подкованных пользователей, а для новичков мало толковых статей. Проигрыватель xmms играет МР3, а все буквы- квадратики, толи шрифтов нет нужных, толи он русский не понимает ещё не разобрался. Зато я понял - ничего сложного... если бы были маны на русском, а не на английском американо-инетного наречия, интересно, если мне таки удасться снести америку с лица земли, может тогда станет русский язык международным. Извините за флейм !!!!!!!!!!!!

Как я выяснил позже этот плеер есть и на диске с дистрибутивом, но повидимому я где-то, чегото не допонял и у меня белеберда получаеться: установил его случайно в домашнюю папку, запускаеться только с консоли, основная часть текста-квадратики, Mp3 не работает. В общем пощёл я читать маны ничего пока не выходит !!!

Решил установить плеер kaffeine, но вот проблемка какая: при выполнении команды ./configure, вылетает сообщение: checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths! Я понимаю, что проблема с Х-ми, но откуда рыть не понимаю. Простите за ламерский вопрос !!!

Вы уж простите, не хотел создавать новую тему. Подскажите пожалуйста, где достать хороший переводчик с английского на русский, возможно платный. Неудобно перекидывать на машину под виндой каждый раз текст.

Вопрос насколько прост, настолько и сложен, заранее благодарен высказавшимся !!! Тема такая: кому какая прога нравиться для проигрывания музыки естественно и Mp3, да с хорошим эквалайзером!!! Ну и для видеопросмотра прога с приятным интерфейсом !!! Естественно поддержка максимум форматов желательно !!!

Кстати Mp3 он так и не играет !!! А без любимой музыки жить тяжко !!!

Спасибо за ценный совет, я им попробовал воспользоваться, пока не получаеться, плохое знание английского меня подводит. Добился запуска проигрывателя с консоли, но вот какая проблема- все команды в проигрывателе вместо букв квадратиками заменены, нащёл патч в корне инстала, но что с ним делать не пойму.

Видимо совет по перемещению модема мне подойдёт больше всех. Нет желания настраивать что либо под виндой, напоминает копание в сухом песке в ветренную погоду. Спасибо за советы !!!

Есть два компа: один под XP prof другойт под RedHat Interprise 4. Комп под XP подключён к Инету при помощи int. софт модема. Сетка между ними работает. В свойствах RedHat сетевухи я прописал шлюз машины под XP. В XP прописал доступ через модем для любых пользователей. Что надо сделать дальше, чтобы Инет заработал на машине под Linux ? Заранее благодарен за дельные советы. Кстати какие книжки посоветуете по RedHat, я не очень люблю читать на мониторе, глаза быстро устают !!!

Всё очень просто , я ниже нашёл такую же проблему, мне просто надо было скачать кодеки, проверить ещё не успел, но предпологаю, что именно здесь и кроется вся проблемма.

Хочу настроить сервер маршрутизатор по раздачи Инета . Сообщите пожалуйста с чего начать и чего почитать. Настроить хочу под RedHat Enerprise 4. Очень желательно инфа на русском. Не хочеться со словарём текст переводить. Заранее благодарю.

Аудио CD работает, а вот MP3 и Video. пишет об ошибке, я так понимаю , что не включено, только вот что ?

При обнаружении звуковой карты тест звука проходит, а при проигрывании музыки звука нет, в чём дело ?

Я проинсталил сначала ХР, а потом RedHat enterpr 4 всё делал по умолчанию и всё заработало отлично, а подобного рода проблемма у меня возникала с Mandrake 10.0, но там криво встал загрузчик. Ещё возможная причина, загрузчик Linux стал не в первый раздел, а к себе на диск, тогда переключать запуск можно только в BIOS, или переписать загрузчик. Хотя не спорю , кто-то найдёт ещё кучу вариантов.

У меня на Cel 450 /128Mb / 6 Gb - чудесьненьким образом работает Linux Mandrake 10.0. Но спецам конечно виднее.

После набора в командной строке: rpm -i hcfpcimodem-1.05full-1.i386.rpm под root, система ответила: Ошибка: неудовлетворённые зависимости gcc нужен для hcfpcimodem-1.05full-1.i386.rpm config не запускается, т.к. его попросту нет.
